Barnacle Goose

Having failed a fortnight ago to get the full detials, this Barnacle Goose was rather rmore accomodating.
Email dispatched and by return I got the details. First ringed on Islay in October 2018, it spent the next two winters on North Uist, The next winter it was back on Islay but for this last winter, it has returned to North Uist. It has been resighted a total of 12 times now and so it is possible to follow its winter journeys reasonably accurately. Not too many people to spot it in Greenland in the summer where it breeds.
Tricia completed her spring migration today too, returning to Uist after a grandmothering stint in Cambridge.
