Open all days except Sunday

next to the Basilica of Maria Maggiore was this door to the museum. open on all days. except on Sunday. However, the basilica itself was already a major attraction.

Today also the Rome Marathon. we enjoyed watching the runners. wonderful how happy people cross the finish line. and respect to them all! It is striking how many older people finish this marathon and still look fresh!
