Maybe benefitted from a VAR decision that denied them a penalty - it would have been a soft award but considering the offside-by-millimetres decisions that VAR gives these days you never know what's going to happen. The VAR upgrade of the yellow card to a red seemed fair - it was a shocker of a tackle on Ayling - and the clincher in injury time to make it 4-2 might also have been denied by VAR but wasn't. About time things evened up a bit as there have been a number of VAR decisions that have gone against Leeds this year. As always it is inconsistency in refereeing that is most frustrating so I can see why Wolves manager was so aggrieved. United conceded a soft penalty at home to St Mirren so not a perfect football day - at least they both avoided defeat. Both tables remain tight but while Leeds have shown they are capable of a win, United are now ten league games without a win, and Rangers next. Extra of the seaside sauna.
