Another hoss pic (Day 2871)

After the usual Sunday shopping trip my beautiful wife and I headed for Stromness for a quick visit to Mum and Dad, then along to the horses.
We took George and Red through the middle of Stromness (stopping so various small children could stay hello to the horses), then out along the shore to Warebeth. George insisted on going down on the beach where he had a paddle in the sea, a couple of wheelies and a nice long canter on the sand. It was a grand ride indeed.
Back home for a late lunch then out with Sigyn for a slower than normal wander. She has pulled a muscle or strained something and was very lame last night, but once she gets moving the lameness eases off. I guess she will be fine in a day or two.
It has been a good, relaxed weekend which will be rounded off nicely with a roast dinner.
