I brought my Fuji camera out of hibernation. I can’t remember when I last used it …… it’s a long time. The battery was flat and I had to reset the language, date and time. I bought it based on photos I’d seen from other people using it but haven’t had a good success rate.

When the batteries charged I walked along the public footpath to Miller Bridge over the River Rothay and back through the park. All the photos were taken using one of the black and white presets. Results were better than I expected, though I’m not sure they would appeal to my viewers. I might try colour next time.

The garden received some much needed attention in the afternoon.
