What a dreary day

Hard to believe its the middle of May. Been quite chilly today and very dreary...bit like I feel actually.

Been a bit fed up today. The adoption process is so slow and frustrating. We thought after being approved in Feb that we would be inundated with possible matches (well that's what we were told)...so far only two suitable matches, one of which we turned down :( and the other we are still waiting to hear from the child's social worker...but nothing seems to be done with any urgency...(sigh)...

Anyway, it could be worse i guess and everyone keeps saying "it will happen (with the emphasis on will) and when it does it will be right". (Sigh again!)

Took the furry faces out for a long walk this afternoon and took this pic of Poppy chilling on the patio after we got back. My doggies have been little life savers and are our best friends. Not sure how we would have managed over the last five years if it wasn't for them. They have lifted our spirit every day whilst going through 5 years of IVF and during the last 18m of the adoption process they are always there wagging their tails. However blue I feel, it doesn't last long when you have furry friends in your life :)

Doggies are the best!
