Sunshine on a rainy day

I was in at the Business Park for a meeting all morning so Mrs Smith picked up Ruby from her tent based sleep over but I headed home early afternoon, grabbed some lunch and then four of us (ruby had another social engagement) headed off for Tantallon Castle - at which point the heavens opened.

So, change of plan it was and we popped into Pitclay gallery to see what pottery classes they have coming up for Eve and then grabbed a coffee and a cake in Athelstaneford - unfortunately there was a Pug in the cafe so the "we want a pug puppy" chorus started up again (Mrs S being the main ringleader).

Quick exit and the sun was shining again so we stopped at Hailes Castle on the way home for a wander, a blip and an al-fresco wee.

Home in time for dinner and Eve's football training.
