Having fun

I was out early this morning with my son in law and grandson. They were going to Little kickers where the aim is to develop their skills for kicking a football around. It was great fun to watch as they are all of such different abilities aged between about 2 to 4 years. Our grandson is still learning to balance on one leg and jump which makes some of the tasks difficult but he does enjoy the running around and playing at being dinosaurs. He was pretty tired by the end of the 45 minute session.

We headed out for lunch in a local pub which was very enjoyable. There was a good garden with various playground equipment in it and we spent a fair amount of time there after our meal. Funnily enough the best times were watching a 5 spotted ladybird walking around a tyre before lunch, finding a 2 spotted one afterwards and then playing with sticks through the centre hole on a table. Interesting what amuses youngsters.
