Joined-Up Thinking

Lured, perhaps, by the intriguing prospect of meeting some Tall Pine Ladies but, more likely, by the fact that it works out cheaper when you play more or less every week, I finally took the plunge and became a member of the golf club today.

Sadly, it didn't lead to a dramatic improvement in my game, although I did get one or two "lucky member's bounces". Perhaps the free tuition session that is part of the induction process will do the trick!
