Inspired by an old wreck.

The Jetty museum has dozens of boats that have been rescued and lovingly restored to their former glory - but they are not the ones that excite me. It’s the boats that have been rescued in an advanced state of decay and then stabilised in their ‘raw’ state that really capture my imagination.
Neglect, water and time have transformed this boat into a tactile, and, for me, beautiful piece of sculpture.
