I was pleased to get a few shots of this fine feathered bird before the rain became too heavy.
Herons can be clever when catching fish, sometimes regurgitating small amounts of food near koi to attract them. The koi aren't quite so smart, and get lured in by the bait. This has never caught on with anglers.
