Uist science festival

Another day of science in Lochmaddy. The girls drew some shells, had their beach bones (porpoise vertebrae and rabbit skull) identified by an expert and looked at objects under a microscope. The scientists were also very excited to see their seabean.

Rowan said the sperm whale tooth smelled a bit funny.

And Muireann was delighted to score some left over chocolate welding materials - the milkybars were on her!
