Lonely sole!

I was woken this morning by the door bell. I had agreed to go walking with a friend but overslept. Fortunately she is the patient sort and waited whilst I hurridly got dressed. It was a wonderful day, full of promise, warm and bright. We walked along the shore and on the way spotted this this lonely sole and I sat with it for a while and we watched the world go by. The ferry was busy sounding its horn as a couple of small dinghies had become becalmed and were in it's way - people turned and watched with baited breath - fortunately there were no casualties! A lovely day with lots of people out - see the extras.
