Apple Blossom
Can I just thank you all for your kind blips for my 500th, you were all very kind.
Today I really thought that it would be another blue bell blip, they are so gorgeous at the moment, then I spotted the first blossom on the crab apple trees at Lamberts Castle.
There are about a dozen crab apple trees growing there and most years they are laden down with fruit and in the past we have gathered the apples to make jam. Then last year for some reason there were no fruit at all. We are hoping that we will be in luck this year as the blossom is wonderful then the trees are laden with these little bitter apples. A few years ago the fruit lasted on the trees until Christmas and it looked as if they were dressed with baubles.
