Brutal

I've never noticed this happening before - a fairly brutal pollarding of the tree in the front of Trinity House (the nearby street trees in the Kirkgate are free to do their wild branch-waving thing). Just out of shot to the left is that lovely old inscription about they that goe down to the sea in ships.....
