Orangerie
M, T and I saw Monet's nyphéas at the Orangerie today and also enjoyed the Matisse "Cahiers d'art. Les années1930" show and the permanent (Paul Guillaume) collection. We had lunch at an Italian restaurant on the rue des écoles, and then went book shopping: Abbey books, Shakespeare and Co, Gibert Joseph and La Compagnie. Meanwhile, J, W and M played many games of chess in the Luco and had lunch at Rostand. They were really happy with their day too. We had a special dinner out at Bouillon Racine in the evening. I'm back-blipping this as we got back late.
