Pizza night

We moved on to a new venue today. I had a final swim in the rock pool of Porto Moniz then a taxi ride to our next stop - Porta do Sol.
As Madeira is so rocky and mountainous there aren’t any beaches - so here they have made 2 by building ugly breakwaters with big concrete boulders. Weird places - hotels, apartments, harbour and restaurants. Not the prettiest of places but the food is good. Pizza for dinner!
We are staying in the original part of the what was the village - the Rum Inn, next to the sugar cane factory..
