Water in the Ford….

Maisie was intrigued to find water to drink in the ford this morning. It has been dry for months. I love watching Maisie. She is such a happy dog when we are out and about down in the Taylor River Reserve. Her tail waves non-stop and she is everybody’s friend.
Late this morning I drove out to visit friends on their vineyard near Rarangi. Their grapes are close to being harvested. We are already seeing big trucks, some pulling two trailers full of newly harvested grapes heading for the wineries. It is a very busy time of the year.
