Love it or hate it .. ..

We spent a very pleasant evening with friends in Corby yesterday and didn't have time to post our blip when we returned home quite late and very well fed and "watered"! On our way to their house we had taken this picture of "The Cube"
which is the very controversial building in Corby, Northamptonshire, opened to the public on 2nd November 2010 at a cost of £47.5m. The project is reported to be £10-12m over budget. The Cube houses the Council Chamber, Registry Office, Public Library and a 400 seat Theatre (The Core) as well as a 100 seat studio theatre. Whether you love it or hate it, it is certainly a very impressive building.
