Stormy Sunday

Well Saturday and Sunday actually. But look at the mess it's made of our lovely beach. Severe flooding up river sent tons of trees and assorted rubbish out to sea and high tides and currents dumped most of it back on shore to Seaham Beach. A normally trickling stream washed tons of gravel out of its path as it cut a swathe about 30 feet wide and 6-8 feet deep. What a mess.
