This is Gallery 9 at the Toyota Municipal Museum of Art where the 13th Annual Global Artist Movement Exhibition is taking place this week (22nd May - 26th May). The group's intention is to promote art made in Japan with love either from locals or foreigners. The Toyota Municipal Museum of Art is one of my favourite art museums in the world, it was one of my personal dreams to hopefully get some pieces there and thanks to a couple of friends I was able to get a reference to participate with the exhibition.

Other works that are included in the Museum are and have been by Francis Bacon, Gustav Klimt, Takahashi Setsuro, Jan Vermeer, and many more. Obviously that's another reason why I love it so much. The architecture was done by Yoshio Taniguchi who's other famous work was designing the new wing of the Moma in New York. I love this place and it's an honour to have a piece up there thanks to the organisers of this Exhibition. If you live in the Aichi area or plan to come to Nagoya, make a trip there.
