At the RCM
A day of variety, with an evening at the Royal College of Music to hear a couple of operas being performed by the students. Both first class productions. A Respighi and a Ravel. Weird and wacky but with great music.
It was a delight to see great niece, Cecilia, snapped here admiring some of the scenes from the production. Thanks to sis and bro-in-law for taking me.
In the morning I got soaked on a bike ride through the forest. Then after lunch a cuppa with a friend who was passing through. We managed to remember to watch the Gold Cup. I had a couple of bets. Both each ways. Do they pay out on fourth place? I think not. Never mind.
