“Smokey In Here”

I’m definitely not the only man of my age who finds himself a trifle ‘emotional’ at some parts of “The Repair Shop” or “DIY SOS” and other such programmes. Apparently hormonal changes make us aging men more emotional as we age, or could it be that as we age we care less about maintaining a stoic posture, than what other people think. Certain studies correlate emotional expression with the effects of depression, social isolation and dementia and it turns out that across adulthood, negative emotions (like anger) wane, and positive emotions (like contentment) become more prominent.
Anyway that’s a better explanation than “smokey room”!

Second consecutive day off with Mrs S and also my brother Gary’s birthday.
