Black Sabbath Old Shale Lace

A lovely calm and sunny day, warm too.  Calm this evening, but a cold frost starting.  Still snow on the hills. 

Popped by Laura's on my way to work for a cuppa.  Last late shift of the week, and a busy day in the airport.  Started on the check-in desk, then moved to meeting and boarding flights.  All flights in and out on time.  One special passenger arrived, colleague Taz' pup, the cutest dachshund.  Big Brian and Madeline popped by for a cuppa this evening.  Might try a pint later.

While Shaun has been in hospital, Laura has been keeping herself busy knitting by his side.  Another lace scarf finished, this time a keepsake for Elise.  Elise is a big rock fan, so Laura has changed the name of the scarf to one of her best bands, Black Sabbath Old Shale Lace.  A lovely pattern.  Taken at Laura's, Blett Road, Cunningsburgh.
