Unfurling

The changing evening and morning temperatures are bringing out the best in the few rose bushes we have left, but despite it being still very much a bud when I left for work, it was a full blown rose by the time I returned.

Barry and Jenne arrived late afternoon and in time for a long seat in the garden as the air started to cool. It was great to catch up, and share our news, and a good distraction for Jen, who’s sister passed away earlier this week.

Shiv seemed to sense her sadness and spent most of the evening, beside or close to Jen all night, offering a paw here and there.

Aren’t dogs amazing.
