Birds in Bowness
After breakfast we wandered down to the café by the slipway, past all the expensive yachts, some being worked upon, getting ready for launching.
Our minds were on the hot chocolate! No sooner had we sat down than several robins appeared. Obviously used to being fed, it sat in the table waiting for food. Mike got some crusts of bread from the café and the robin happily took crumbs from him! I took lots of photos of it, it was almost rotund! Like a tennis ball with feathers! So friendly!
In the afternoon we walked into the town and on the top of a hedge we saw two jackdaws. They were watching Lottie finishing the end of an ice cream cone, and shouting at her! Never seen them close up before. I do like corvids. Photos in extras.
