The Plank

Another quick blip that abstracted itself pleasantly on the pavement.
Well, went to the clinic, the over 70s age range today. There was one lady, 95 years old, and sprightly at that, who was accompanied to the hospital by her neighbour, who was clearly supporting her on a regular basis. Another lady , 90 years old, also fairly fit, was alone, without any support. I felt that there was such a difference between them in their mental well-being. The lady on her own was more frightened, and putting on a 'brave face'. Oh that the nation would all adopt an older person. Anyway, we would then be guaranteed a cup of tea, and homemade cake, no!? The plank represents a 'bridge'..
