Little Brother

An early start this morning for my husband’s Addenbrookes hospital appointment. We were not sure if the trains would be running on time as they were on strike yesterday so our daughter took us to Cambridge.
 
After the appointment we went into town to purchase a few things, then I collected my prescription sunglasses, before having lunch in John Lewis.
 
We have been invited to our granddaughter’s home on Sunday, so we found a suitable present in John Lewis; the small plant in today’s picture is her gift. The larger plant is how the same sized plant looked like twelve months ago.
 
Thanks for your good wishes yesterday. I still have a swollen nose as well as a bit of a bruise where the nose and eye meet!
 
The temperature at noon today was twelve degrees Celsius. There was some sunshine, but also lots of rain showers, some heavier than others.
