St Patrick’s Day 2023

On this day last year I  featured a book written by my wife’s Irish born grandfather.

Today we have another of his books, Long Horns (pity I did not combine it with Wednesday’s entry). 

First published in 1937, it is set partly in Ireland and partly in South Africa. 

The title comes from an old Irish saying “Far away cows have long horns”.
