Blossom

Glorious day. Went for a walk with Mrs B round Warriston among the cherry trees.

I think I have a renewed appreciation for the simple act of trees flowering. You really notice that the trees are bare during the winter, and when everything starts blossoming it feels a bit like your camera has just discovered the colour function. The act of photographing everything seems to accentuate the seasons. The winters feel even more dark and even more bare. And the summer seems even brighter and more colourful.

Maybe I'm just getting overly sentimental at the ripe old age of 28...
Or I've just had too many espressos and need to go to bed.
