Bear

Enjoying a snooze and doesn't particularly want to be disturbed for the after lunch class.

Bear is a 14 year old eventing horse who met with a bad accident. Narrowly saved from the knacker's yard he now leads a fairly relaxed life, most of it spent in a paddock with some friends and twice a week he works for Riding for the Disabled (RDA). He has badly scarred legs and if ridden too hard soon goes lame but he is such a willing and gentle horse and puts up with all sorts of shenanigans from his generally keen and happy riders.

RDA is totally run by volunteers and has lots of support. When you see the faces of (most of) the kids when they land in the saddle you know why.
