Lioness & Young Male

Day 12 of our South Africa trip, (7th in Kruger) and we finally have seen Lions, OK, we had to go on an organised (Night) game drive but it was worth it. Our Guide reconed that this was a Lioness (R) and her youngster, a Male, They had been, or were in the process of feeding, every so often the Lioness would go over to the male and lick at the blood around it's face, the Lion equivilant of yer mum licking her hankie and attempting to clean your face.
They were very vocal with low growls being exchanged constantly.
