Blackbird singing

Birdsong loud this morning, so opened the window to see a few flitting from tree to tree, and the blackbird sat watching.
Hubby still positive. I did ironing and chatted to brother and then we went for an exercise walk, without Hetty, as hubby felt he needed exercise but not well enough to run and shouldn’t go to gym. Gave me the opportunity to try out my boots. Only five k but fast walk and a couple of hills.
Baked an apple and caraway cake, sounded odd to me but he said it works.

Damp day but managed to stay dry.
