Beauty in Simplicity

There's a chill in the air as winter starts to creep in. The day has been dark with drifts of fine rain. As I headed out the door I noticed how bare the top branches of my maple are, with just a few leaves clinging on. A little processing to enhance their style, possibly a little elegance against the greyness of the sky. I see there are some tiny legs on the stem, just by the middle leaf, might be better seen in large.

I had a great day with Daughter E, lovely to have her come home for a 'catch-up'. I was thinking of blipping her but time got away on us and now she's headed back to the city, there will be another time.

Time now to prepare some roast veges to go with roast chicken for tea.
