Wide Wednesday carnage

Plymouth city council decided in their ‘wisdom’ that they would cut down all the trees on armada way to create a brand new city centre. These trees were much loved by the residents of the city who sent requests for the city not to remove them. It was all done under cover of darkness at night and it had been said that the trees were rotten, this was not true and they were shredding the trees not even allowing them to be given to wood turners who might make them into something beautiful!

They are going to plant some new trees, saplings which will take years to grow to a decent size!
