Mar 15

The day started out foggy, but I decided to go for a short drive. With the fog there was not much opportunity for photos. I stopped at a small park in Cow Bay, there is a statue of a moose there. The rain started again, so I didn't stay long, I headed home.
Worked on my jigsaw puzzle for awhile, did some housecleaning, then the sun came out, so I went out for a walk. Had a nice walk around Sullivan's Pond, then decided to go over to Dartmouth Cove to see what was there for birds. They were too far out for photos. On my way there I had to drive by one of the gardens I look after, and I spotted a patch of yellow, so I had to go back and get a photo, some of the crocus are starting to bloom.
When I came home, I noticed another patch of winter aconite starting to bloom, on the other side of the steps from the first patch. I stepped off the path to have a closer look and noticed the snowdrops are blooming on the side of the slope to the back yard.
We didn't get much snow, it had changed to rain by 9 pm last night. The wind dropped overnight too. The high temperature this afternoon was +7 C.
Tomorrow is the last of the big relines. Just some smaller ones left to do now.
