Welcome Break

It's that time of year again .. Mr DV and I are knee deep in SATs papers. We have been SATs markers for quite a while now although we don't mark the Year 6 papers that caused all the controversy last year! We mark the Year 4 and 5 'optional' SATs papers. Every year we forget just how time consuming it is but as there is a deadline it has to be done!

It was a great relief when Harry arrived. It is obviously impossible to mark SATs papers when he is around! Thank goodness he decided to springclean our garden - that old statue hasn't had a good dust for ooh ... ever!!
