Nice surprise

We were just about to go to bed when we checked the Aurora app again. It showed a slight aurora borealis, so we quickly put on our warm clothes and found the lights in a northerly direction. We were able to see a few of these bands before they faded away. I only had my iPhone with me to take pictures. But I am still positively surprised by the result, for handheld and exposure time of 1 second.
