I'm 62 years old and have fallen enough in love with Bedford to choose to make it my forever home.
21 years ago I fell enough in love with a particular Greek island to choose to make that my forever home.
In 1985 I found a flat I could afford to buy in a location I reckoned was a good enough fit to make it my forever home.
The Greek home is forever lost to me, so now I am attempting to trade my first-loved home for a new forever home in Bedford.

Yes I have needed to flee the home I loved and would have happily lived in until I died, but I didn't depend on a rubber boat to get here. I know that I am incredibly lucky.
