Burnley

In 1988 I moved to Burnley from London to be nearer family. I was employed by the Burnley Education chief as a county unattached relief teacher to fill long term unfilled vacancies. My interview was in one of these old buildings but I cant remember which as it is 35 years ago now. I was in Burnley at the dentist which I haven't changed even though i moved out of Burnley in 1991. I met a friend for coffee then I had a wander round. I loved these fine old buildings.
 I drove from Burnley to Oswaldtwistle. mill and had a wander. I then decided to do a recce of where I want to photograph the flying Scotsman on the East lancs railway line. I drove to Townsend Fold where John my friend Alison's husband will be working Friday afternoon. From there I drove to Ramsbottom station then I went looking for a bridge in Summerseat which I didn't find. I eventually got home at 3.30pm after leaving the house at 8.15am. I feel I know where I'm going on Friday I just hope the weather is fine.
