One Person's Weed...

...Is Another's Wild Flower. This is Spanish Needle, Bidens alba. They are blooming everywhere and the pollinators and butterflies just love them! The rest of us, not so much. The plant's seeds have a couple of prongs on them that are very adept at propagation techniques. They stick to just about everything, especially it seems, dogs' coats and humans' clothing, and they spread like crazy. So it's a 'love/hate' kind of relationship that I have with them.
