Spring is trying ......

....... but it hasn't quite sprung yet!

We had a sharp frost this morning though the sunshine soon melted it. Unfortunately the sun has now been obscured by cloud though it is still dry .... for now!

Noticed these new shoots .... think they are flowers but I don't know for sure! They are in a nearby garden ..... no idea what plant this is but thought it would make a good blip :-)

Update: several blippers have informed me that it's Laurel .... thanks for the info :-)

Supermarket shop when Hubby finishes work ...... must make sure that my loins are well girded!
