A Good Day for Baking

'cos it's not much good for anything else.

I had some butter in the cupboard, so I decided to make shortbread, to use it up. I made all sorts of shapes - hearts, butterflies, stars, teddy bears.
But my favourites were the kiwis, and New Zealand.

I had to be very careful handling the NZ shaped ones , the North & South Island kept wanting to beak away from each other - which isn't surprising really...





It isn't raining at the moment, although it's trying to. I really should be going out for some exercise, but I can't be bothered.
