2023 Tuesday — Dinner with Dorothy

Dorothy phoned me mid-afternoon to ask if we wanted to meet her for dinner at Rodrigo’s this evening. I told her I would need to check with Mr.Fun. He was out of the house doing a couple of things.

So I sent a text to Mr. Fun and one to our daughter to ask about the evening plan and what they each thought. They both responded that they’d like to do that.

I returned Dorothy’s call, said “Yes,” and we decided to meet at 5:30 to eat. I spent my day preparing and packing in preparation for making the journey north tomorrow to the Central Coast. We are watching the weather closely to make our final decision about whether to travel or not.

California’s Central Coast has taken a severe beating from a winter storm and the land is saturated and all the reservoirs, rivers, and creeks are full and overflowing.

The storm on the Central Coast has now reached us here in SoCal.

All together for Taco Tuesday was a good idea.
