Who Is Colin Dexter? Not Alistair Cooke!

Another Books Entry. Not really surprising as I am surrounded by them.  A life time of buying books and still the library continues to grow.

Colin Dexter wrote the Morse series of Novels. A closely guarded secret was that Morse’s first name was Endeavour..

A ‘spin-off’ from Morse was Nine Seasons of Endeavour which described the career of Endeavour Morse before the Morse series of novels.

This is Television of the highest quality and the final ever episode was shown today. Well worth watching.

Alistair Cooke Books just happen to be next to the Morse Books. I am sure many Blipfoto will recall his ‘Letters From America’ which were broadcast weekly. Superb journalism.
