ITV/BBC

Surreal trip back to my old haunts in White City where TVC is still home to BBC studios and the old Broadcaster Centre is home to both BBC and ITV production and commissioning.  They have separate receptions, separate passes but are in the same building.   Some things never change. 

In a day of looking back i had lunch in Soho House with an old boss alongside my colleague Hilary. It was a slightly sobering experience as now retired they seemed a bit lost.   I may have been projecting…

Then we went over to White City and pitched our wares.   In the evening  Noemi and I were lucky enough to go to see Cabaret.  I’d seen it before but an agent friend wanted us to see her client John McCrea who played the Emcee and was fantastic.   We went for a drink with him afterwards and he was lovely and interesting about the process.   

The audience was very lively, full of celebs including Eddie Redmayne himself , still a producer on the show and Cara Delavigne who is rumoured to be joining and my mate Penny.  So we had fun.
