Robin and the Camellia

Today's the day ....................... to make some noise

This robin was right at the top of the camellia bush, that must now be a good 12ft high - singing at the top of his voice for all to hear.

Within minutes, the sky went dark and there was a heavy shower of hailstones.  All birdlife dived for cover and for a few minutes, a very different (and not nearly so melodic) sound, filled the air .....................
