Barn owl

Darren as mentioned seeing the barn owl quite often recently. He’s never had a camera and lens combination with him to take advantage of the flying hunting display, tonight though he did.
Darren’s longest lens is his 100-400 zoom for his canon system, it’s just about long enough to capture the barn owl.
Darren’s success rate was quite low, he took about190 photos but only around 15 or 20 were any good and of course like most bird and wildlife photography he has had to crop in to photo. He is quite pleased with the photos tonight but thinks he can do better with a bit more practice.
