Nuthatch

I haven't taken any bird seed to Pollok for a number of weeks but today I took a wee bag of peanuts and sunflower seeds.

I had hardly put the peanuts on the stone when Mt Nuthatch flew down for breakfast. Once he had flown back to the trees I put down the seeds and very quickly the Robins and BlueTits appeared.

Then the weather took a turn for the worse, the snow started and the birds flew off to take cover in the trees.  Things improved this afternoon when the sunshine arrived and the snow disappeared
