Imagine

this street without the cars and obtrusive traffic signs.  How pretty it would be - and just a little street off the old main road north in Buntingford.  The extra is taken standing in the middle of the ford, which I suppose gives the town its name, except its not the River Bunting, but Rib.
(But we wouldn't have been here without the use of the car so.....)
